Mahavatar Babaji (also know as Babaji Maharaj), the avatar of Lord Shiva, invented the scientific meditation technique of Kriya Yoga. Kirya Yoga is the spiritual path that leads to experiencing divinity within our souls and ultimately attain Mukti. Babaji Maharaj chose Lahiri Mahaysaya to spread Kirya Yoga in India and around the world. Kriya Yogi Kameshwar Nath Tiwary is part of this divine linegae of Kriya Yogis. He has been practicing Kriya Yoga since 1967. After 42 years of tireless meditation and practice, he earned the mantle of Kriya Yoga Guru in the year 2009 from Late. Sri Rang Nath Tiwary. This means he had attained the spiritual prowess to impart Kriya (Diksha) to people. As of now he has many disciples and followers who practice Kriya Yoga under his tutelage.

As such there are no strict do's and don'ts to become a Kriya Yoga practitioner. However, in keeping with the essence and purpose of Kriya Yoga, you are advised to lead a pious life in terms of eating and drinking habits, thoughts and discourse. GURU POORNIMA 2021
Guru Poornima will be observed on 13th July 2022 in Rajiv Nagar, Patna. On this day, Kriya Yogi Kameshwar will worship his Gurus. Also, the followers of Sri Kameshwar will organize a function of Guru Poornima, following all the defined Covid protocols guidelines. This will be the 12th Guru Poornima in Patna with Sri Kameshwar as the Kriya Yoga Guru.
